About Moonbeam
Moonbeam is an Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform on the Polkadot network that allows developers to deploy existing Solidity smart contracts and DApp frontends to Substrate with minimal changes.
To perform a trade on Moonbeam’s TestNet, Moonbase Alpha, we’ll be using MetaMask, so once you have the MetaMask browser extension installed, you’re ready to begin, just follow the steps below and import our private key or use your own.
Use our Test Wallet
Using Metamask please import the below Private Key:

Using Metamask to connect to Moonbase Alpha
If you already have MetaMask installed, you can easily connect MetaMask to the Moonbase Alpha TestNet by providing the following network information:

Get Additional DEV Tokens
To request tokens to your own wallet automatically, Moonbeam have created a Discord bot (named Mission Control) that will automatically send a maximum of 5 DEV tokens every 24 hours (per Discord user) when you enter your address. You can check it out on their Discord channel.
